Gonna go back in time....

I have a lot of events to catch up on, so my apologies as I go back over the last few months and do some updates. A lot of these are really random.

We have different colored plates that the kids use and I was getting really tired of hearing whining because they wanted a certain color. So I decided to have a FHE about being grateful for what we have. I put a bunch of random utensils in bags and then they had to choose a bag and eat dinner with those things. We had a fun time and in the days following I offered them some wax paper to eat on if they complained. It worked pretty well.

Ally's dance concert. She had some of her best friends in her class- Lyndi and Alyssa.

I think this could possibly be my kids favorite thing to do. Movie and popcorn. At least Malia is old enough to eat popcorn now. It was really hairy for a while when we had to try to keep it away from her. I could never pick off the kernels fast enough....

Making our sandbox with daddy. Max is in heaven.

Malia loves watermelon and was loving sharing it with Uncle Gary!

In May we went up to Spokane for a celebration for Kyrk's dad. He was inducted into the Wash. Home Builder's Hall of Fame. It was a real honor for him and we were so glad that we could be there to watch this happen. I was so impressed with his speech and the emphasis he put on the things that are most important to him. I think he really touched everyone in the room.

At Thankgiving Point. We went right after they had the tulip festival and it was gorgeous!

Malia loved all the "animals" they had around.

Easter. I know, we're going way back...

I had to laugh because the kids were finding all the eggs outside and Malia was just reaching into their baskets and taking their eggs. I don't know if Ally ever figured out why her basket wasn't filling up.

Gross. Malia kept finding the eggs and putting them in her mouth. Well, the dye comes off a little with water, or slobber in this case. Malia had a blue mouth that lasted for way too long.

This was a good as it got.

We found Max like this watching the kids across the street playing. He knows he can't cross the street without one of us there so it kinda made me sad that he was just standing, watching.

So fun to see what your family has been up to. Take care. Just a few more weeks!
