Kiteboarding

Kyrk had a lot of fun yesterday but is pretty sore today. You might have to click on the pictures to really see them.

Reputation

Okay, so poor Max is getting quite the reputation from this blog, and this is just adding to it. Well, here is part of the explanation. Max has two sisters, our neighbors next door have three girls. I swap babysitting/playgroup with a couple people, 4 girls come over. The reoccurring theme at our house is girls, girls, girls. And what do girls love to do? Dress-up! So Max (who is around girls all the time) has come up with a theory. He came out with this dress on one day and said, "Mom, it's a blue dress- it's a boy dress!" All pleads were disregarded. I thought if I didn't make a big deal about it, he would forget about the dress. I was wrong. The worst of it came when Max got out of the house and was running up and down the sidewalk in his boy dress. Quick as a wink our neighbor Mark had his video camera out. I am currently looking for counseling for Kyrk. The dress does compliment his eyes! :)
Our children LOVE nuts! They were told to stay in the kitchen, so they sat on the stairs and watched tv with their snack.

Our cousins, Cody and Tanner came over to play. Yeah, some boy time! (And boy, were they rough and tough!)

Tanner found my cover up.
Having a picnic in the shade of daddy's kite.

Who's Who Game

Many people seem to think that our children look alike. What do you think? Come and play our little game. See if you can identify which child is in each picture. Don't worry, Kyrk didn't get them all right either! I will have to think of a prize for whoever wins!!

It's all about the food

Food, glorious food!

Outside Fun

We are loving that it is getting a little warmer here. We take every minute we can to be outside.

Having a bike "race" with our neighbors.
Malia in the sweater and hat Gramsy knitted for her.

Let's go fly a kite, Up to the highest height!

And then there is Kyrk with his kite.

The sprinklers came on and I think Max got the worst of it.

We LOVE to make Malia laugh! It's hard to catch her though, every time we bring out the recorder, she stops and just stares at it.
