summer fun

Trying out a spoon. More actually got in her mouth then I thought would.

Abandon the spoon!

That's way more fun!

My beautiful Ally

We went to Lagoon with Travis and Hil and Mom. What a fun day. The kids didn't want to stop. They had a ton of rides for the kids, I was very impressed. This was Max's favorite ride. He had to go backwards so he could shoot Ally and Audrey in the car behind him. Nice.

Malia got brain freeze from eating a pushup too fast.

Hilary got a little car for Landon and it's Malia's favorite toy. Max and Ally love to push her.

This is one of Malia's favorite spots and as bad as it may be, if I need to do something in the kitchen for a minute I will open the fridge for her and it will definitely keep her busy. Here she has found the grapes and is seeing how many she can stuff in her mouth before she spits them out.

thank goodness for digital

Ally is our little model apparently...

While Max is picking his nose....

Yeah, we got one! This was really about the 26th.

Good enough!

4th of July

Ally and Audrey started a summer gymnastics class. They have had lots of fun and I have been really surprised at what they have had them do!

Why is it just so hard to resist dirt?

I couldn't resist and put pig tails in Malia's hair one day. She was not too happy.

Flying the kite with daddy.

Malia LOVES the water and just splashes and splashes. We got a hotel in Idaho Falls when we went up for Kyrk's family reunion and the kids loved the pool.

We went to the Provo 4th of July parade. I was really complaining before hand because I didn't want to go find a place to park, walk 5 miles and stand out in the heat to watch the back of peoples heads because the closest we could find was 200 yards away from the street. Well, we got there and found a really good spot in the shade and then the flag came down the street with all the military and everyone was cheering for the veterans and I start bawling, and I was so grateful for our country and so glad that we went to the parade. And yes, I did apologize to Kyrk for being such a stinker.

Spokane fun

After the baby blessing we headed over to Spokane for a week of fun.

We LOVE the golf cart. Golf cart rides in the morning, for picnics, before dinner, and to put the kids to sleep. The kids will go at any time and it will turn any frown upside down. The only problem was that when anyone heard the words golf cart, everyone was running, no one was going to be left behind! The result....

Hilary bought some water guns and balloons in Utah but we didn't use them so she had the great idea to take them up to Spokane and ambush Scott Grandpa. And that is exactly what we did. We had a hard time keeping the kids quiet but it all worked out in the end.

The kids would live on the trampoline if they could and were out on it from sun up till sun down, so I guess they kind of did! Aunt Bethany was such a great help and played with the kids all week.

Aunt Abby with Malia

A visit to Coeur d'Alene beach. This was Malia's first time at the lake. The sand was sure interesting and must have tasted pretty good considering she kept eating it.

Our beautiful mermaid princesses. Ally is often Ariel and wants her hair "just like this mommy" so she can look like her.

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa Wright's house.

Malia went straight to Grandpa which is not very typical. I wonder if she was missing daddy.

The kids loved playing in the flower garden and watering all the flowers. Poor Grandma added a few more stepping stones after we left.

I think that we wore them out. Classic.
